To get to Punta Ahuano, small port located on the Napo River, were the motorized canoes are located from Quito, you have three options:
- Public bus, you take a bus in Quito that goes to Tena (6 hour ride and around US$8,50 p/p). Once there, you change to another bus station called “Centinela del Tena”, and take a bus to Punta Ahuano (60 minute ride and around US$1,50 p/p.) or you can take a Taxi (30 minute and US$15.00 the ride up to 4 persons).
- Shared Shuttle, this service picks you up at were you are staying in the city of Quito. Between 4 to 5 a.m. and brings you directly to Punta Ahuano in 4 hours. The price is US$40.00 p/p the ride and US$45.00 p/p the ride if you are staying in the Valleys or near Quito’s Airport.
- Private Driver, he picks you up at 9:00 a.m. at were you are staying in Quito and brings you to Punta Ahuano in less than 4 hours. The price is US$150.00 the ride up to 4 persons and from 5 to 10 persons, US$200.00.

You just let us know were you are going to be staying in Quito, exact address and phone number. That information you can give it to us 3 days before travelling to the Lodge.
The price is NOT included in the rates of Lodging. It’s an extra value that the passenger pays to the driver.
You cannot navigate the Napo River after 5:30 p.m., by Law of Ecuador. That is the maximum time of arrival at the Port of Punta Ahuano. After that hour, you will not be able to get to the Lodge.
