ITINERARY
Day 1
Start your experience
Check in at 11:00 a.m., at the Lodge. In Punta Ahuano a canoe (outboard motor) will be waiting for you which will take you to Anaconda Lodge Ecuador (approximately 30 minutes).
Room distribution, information of activities, 1:30 pm, lunch in the Lodge’s dining room.
At 2:45 p.m., we will leave from the port of the Lodge in a motorized canoe sailing along the Napo River (15 minutes) where we are going to arrive at the house of a Kichwa family (native peoples of this area), where they will show us how they live, their ancestral cultures, their farms with the products that are consumed day by day. Then we will go to harvest 100% organic cocoa to make chocolate the way the grandparents did. In the Ecuadorian Amazon we have one of the best cocoas in the world. The cost of the visit is US$ 3.00 per person, this money goes directly to the community for the studies of the children of the area.
The return to the Lodge is at 6:00 p.m.
At 7:00 p.m., dinner in the dining room on the banks of the Napo River. Then listen to the sounds of the Amazon rainforest, enjoy talking with other guests from all over the world and the next day’s activities at Bar Anaconda.
Day 2
Primary jungle view, hike, canoe ride
At 08:00 a.m., breakfast in the Lodge’s dining room.
At 09:00 hrs., departure to an excursion to the primary jungle where you can see animals in their wild state, a walk of approximately 3 hours through high jungle, large trees and beautiful landscapes that allow you to feel the immensity of the Amazon. Later return to the Lodge tubing or sailing the Napo or Arajuno river.
At 2:00 p.m., lunch in the dining room of the Lodge.
In the afternoon you can enjoy the sounds, colors, surroundings of the Lodge, bathe in the Napo River on a wonderful beach, if you want you can hire a canoe ride on the Napo River (extra cost depending on the hours of navigation).
At 7:00 p.m., dinner in the dining room. Then listen to the sounds of the Amazon rainforest and the next day’s activities at Bar Anaconda.
Day 3
Excursion to the primary forest, fauna and flora sighting, night walk
From 08:00 hrs., Breakfast in the dining room of the Lodge.
09:00 hrs., we will go on a walk through the jungle of Anaconda Island, where we will be taught about the flora and fauna that exists on the Island (Caymans), then we will go to visit the Sacha Ahmbi Community where they will show us everything related to medicinal plants (the Amazon is the pharmacy of the world) entrance fee is US$ 2.50 per person. Once we finish there, we will walk to the bank of the Arajuno River where we will do Tubing until we return to the Lodge at about 13:30 hrs.
14:00 hrs., lunch in the dining room of the Lodge.
In the afternoon you can enjoy the sounds, colors, surroundings of the Lodge, bathe in the Napo River on a wonderful beach or take a walk along Anaconda Island to enjoy the biodiversity of the island.
At 7:00 p.m., dinner in the Lodge’s dining room.
8:00 p.m., departure to a night walk through the Amazon jungle of Anaconda Island, where you will see endless night species … another world!
Return around 9:30 p.m.
Day 4
Farewell and return
At 08:00 a.m., Breakfast in the Lodge’s dining room,
Check-Out 10:00 a.m., boarding the canoe (outboard motor) bound for Punta Ahuano (35-minute ride).
